Starting a family or welcoming another child into your family is a wonderful experience and truly a gift. Along the journey of pregnancy, delivery, and subsequently coming home, there are bound to be times when you have questions about how to care for your baby and family.


We are here for you!



We are excited and honored that you are considering us for your child’s care. It is always special for us to be invited by new parents to join in the care of a family member. The continuity of care and the amazement of watching a baby grow and develop into a wonderful child is one of the primary reasons that we all feel privileged to work in pediatrics.

Please Bring With You

Please Bring The Following To Your First Appointment:


  • Any paperwork from the hospital, including hearing screen results and immunization records.
  • Any available insurance information (often only the parent’s insurance is available at the first visit).
  • Plenty of diapers and an extra set of clothes.
  • Please complete the New Patient Registration Packet prior to the visit to help make the appointment as smooth as possible.

First Appointment

As you enter into the third trimester, it is recommended that parents begin to look for their baby's pediatrician. You may call our office at any time during your pregnancy to schedule a prenatal visit if desired. This is a time where you can view our office and ask any questions that you may have.

When the time to deliver has come, you will tell the hospital staff that you have chosen Ellis Pediatrics as your pediatrician. Most hospitals require an appointment to be set with your pediatrician prior to leaving the hospital.
